Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals, lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate, timely financial statements, oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, and maintain compliance with regulatory bodies and the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA).
  • Risk & Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and funding strategies while identifying financial risks and implementing internal controls and audits.
  • Leadership & Governance: Lead and develop finance, accounting, procurement, and potentially HR/IT teams, oversee asset management, and advise on growth and investment opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s is an added advantage).
  • Professional Certification: CPA/ACCA or equivalent professional certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership.
  • Sector Advantage: Experience in mining, industrial, or related sectors is a strong advantage.
