Job Summary

The Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in financial strategy, responsible for cost accounting, management reporting, budgeting, pricing trend analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and stock reconciliations. The role will provide actionable insights to senior management and Group reporting teams to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Accounting & Inventory: Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs for manufactured goods, prepare stock-taking schedules, and perform half-year stock reconciliations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate across functions to build annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans while monitoring variance performance and risk.
  • Management Reporting & MIS: Consolidate monthly and quarterly MIS & KPI reports, track operational synergies/efficiencies, and prepare management packages.
  • Pricing & System Maintenance: Upload value chain pricing and discounts into SAP Business ByDesign, manage pricing templates, and recommend adjustments based on market trends.
  • Cost Center & General Ledger Review: Conduct monthly cost center reviews, maintain general ledger accuracy, perform periodic reconciliations, and evaluate internal controls against SICS standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar management accounting role.
  • System Knowledge: Strong system and process knowledge, preferably in SAP (SAP Business ByDesign). Excellent knowledge of cost accounting, spreadsheets (Excel), and PowerPoint.
  • Core Competencies: Strong interpersonal skills, effective cross-functional communication, analytical mindset, and team collaboration capabilities.
