Job Purpose & Responsibilities

The Accountant will oversee daily financial accounting, reporting, and cost management to support construction operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Accounting & Reporting: Ensure accurate financial accounting, planning, analysis, and maintain proper documentation and record keeping.
  • Project Costing & Control: Manage project costing, budgeting, financial control, billing, and payments.
  • Compliance & Inventory: Oversee audit and compliance procedures, inventory management, and fixed asset controls.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in Accounts and Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of experience (at least 2 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role, specifically within the construction industry).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with accounting software and solid knowledge of construction industry accounting practices.
  • Core Competencies: Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in financial matters, along with effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively.
