Key Responsibilities

  • Financial & Operational Support: Provide financial and operational support to the Service business by monitoring work-in-progress (WIP), analyzing profitability, and preparing management reports.
  • Job Closure & Tracking: Follow up on and monitor the closure of all open jobs under Work in Progress (WIP) on a weekly and monthly basis, alongside conducting quarterly WIP counts.
  • Profitability & Performance Reporting: Prepare reports explaining workshop and field service departmental performance, and conduct profitability analyses for service contracts and workshop/field operations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare quarterly and annual forecasts and budgets, as well as cost and variance analyses against forecasts on a monthly basis.
  • Invoicing & Customer Service: Prepare customer invoices and quotations for service contracts and equipment.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly sales reports in OneStream and other financial reports, including monthly commentary (Flash and Actuals).
  • Reconciliations & Controls: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, assist with Capex monitoring, perform internal control testing, and assist with pricing reviews.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Professional Certification: Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) holder.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting practices. Previous experience or exposure within the mining industry or related sectors is considered an added advantage.
  • Key Skills: Good command of English, high attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and a self-reliant, flexible approach.
