Job Purpose & Responsibilities

The CFO/Global Director of Finance will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, steering global financial operations, budgeting, risk management, and strategic growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Strategy: Lead global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term economic strategies to ensure organizational sustainability.
  • Fiscal Governance & Compliance: Oversee financial controls, internal audits, and compliance with statutory and international financial reporting standards across operating regions.
  • Treasury & Risk Management: Manage global cash flows, capital allocations, and currency risks while mitigating organizational financial vulnerabilities.
  • Executive Leadership: Partner with the board of directors and senior executives to drive strategic initiatives, reporting on financial health and operational performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related executive field.
  • Professional Qualifications: Recognized professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA).
  • Experience: Extensive senior-level leadership experience in financial management, ideally within international NGOs, global organizations, or corporate finance settings.
  • Core Skills: Exceptional strategic planning abilities, strong command of financial modeling, and proven leadership in multi-country operations.
