Job Purpose & Responsibilities

As the Finance Manager, you will oversee all financial activities, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Develop financial strategies, prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends while overseeing the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles; coordinate with external auditors; and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and optimize cash management strategies.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support the finance department to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
  • Professional Certification: A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Tally.
  • Competencies: Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
