  • Hours of Work: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday, with additional hours as required by workload)

Job Purpose

To support the development, structuring, and execution of the Bank's Supply Chain Financing (SCF) business by originating anchor-led programs, onboarding suppliers and distributors, assisting in credit structuring and approvals, and ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of SCF solutions. The role contributes to growth in funded and non-funded working capital assets while maintaining portfolio quality and strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Program Support

  • Support identification and onboarding of anchor corporates with established supply chains in sectors such as FMCG, manufacturing, telecom, agriculture, and trading.
  • Assist in structuring anchor-led Supply Chain Finance programs, including:
    • Supplier/Vendor Financing
    • Dealer/Distributor Financing
    • Invoice Discounting
    • Purchase Order Financing
    • Payables and Receivables Financing
  • Conduct value chain analysis to identify financing opportunities within anchor ecosystems.
  • Support acquisition of new-to-bank suppliers and distributors through SCF programs.

2. Product Structuring, Implementation & Digitization

  • Assist in drafting SCF program policy notes, including eligibility criteria, limits, pricing, tenor, documentation, settlement mechanisms, and risk mitigants.
  • Coordinate end-to-end operational workflows between Relationship Managers, Credit, Operations, IT, Anchors, and Suppliers/Distributors.
  • Support digitization of trade and invoice flows, including onboarding onto SCF platforms.

3. Credit & Risk Support

  • Prepare and support credit proposals for anchor corporates and program-level approvals in line with internal credit policies.
  • Support development of supplier and distributor scorecards using bank data, anchor data, behavioural trends, and transaction history.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, including DPD, overdue accounts, and concentration levels, and escalate early warning signals.
  • Support periodic portfolio reviews and reporting.

4. Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Maintain effective working relationships with anchor corporates, particularly procurement and finance teams.
  • Coordinate with Legal to support finalization of program and supplier/distributor agreements (Program Agreements, Supplier/Dealer Agreements, Assignment Deeds).
  • Support supplier and distributor onboarding and awareness sessions, including training and documentation support.
  • Act as a subject matter support resource on SCF products for internal stakeholders.

5. Market Engagement & Continuous Improvement

  • Support participation in industry events, forums, and ecosystem initiatives related to supply chain and trade finance.
  • Assist in engagement with fintech and ecosystem partners to enhance SCF delivery and efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of SCF processes, turnaround times, and customer experience.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional Qualifications: MBA, ACCA, CFA, or related professional qualifications are an added advantage.
  • Experience: 3–5 years' relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, or Supply Chain Finance.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of credit analysis, trade documentation, and working capital products.
