  • Hours of Work: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday, with additional hours as required by workload)

Job Purpose

The position involves providing hands-on technical administration, support, and optimization of Exim Bank's IT and Cloud Infrastructure environments. The role drives IT infrastructure modernization initiatives, strengthens platform reliability, enhances security posture, and enables business continuity through best-practice architecture and operational governance.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Administering and supporting Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud environments, including Exchange services (online and on-premises).
  • Managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, SCCM, and identity services.
  • Automating operational tasks using PowerShell scripting, Azure CLI, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Maintaining virtualization platforms, server infrastructure, storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Monitoring cloud and hybrid infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security.
  • Implementing infrastructure security controls, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and access management best practices.
  • Supporting cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, automation, and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Conducting assessments and applying infrastructure systems patches, upgrades, firmware updates, and security fixes.
  • Resolving cloud and on-premises incidents within agreed SLAs.
  • Managing IT infrastructure systems licenses, subscriptions, and renewals.
  • Handling systems backup and recovery activities for business continuity according to bank standards.
  • Providing Level 2 and Level 3 incident and problem management support for infrastructure-related issues.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in IT or MIS.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience administering enterprise Microsoft infrastructure.
  • Technical Experience: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, PowerShell scripting, virtualization platforms, and enterprise storage solutions.
  • Hybrid Cloud Experience: Proven track record in supporting hybrid cloud environments.
  • Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server) are required.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, and AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, SCCM, Azure, and Microsoft enterprise solutions.
  • Knowledge in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools (GitHub, Terraform, RedHat Ansible).
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Oracle Linux KVM, Hyper-V).
  • Strong knowledge of SAN storage technologies (including NetApp).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and topologies.
  • Skills in RedHat Technologies (RedHat Satellite, OpenShift, RedHat Certification) are an added advantage.
  • Strong customer service, troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
