Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and conduct audit engagements in line with client expectations.
  • Complete assignments within the budgeted timelines.
  • Review audit working papers of team members before submission for review.
  • Assess and test internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Draft management letters and recommend effective changes.
  • Prepare and review tax computations, wear and tear, and other allowances as per relevant client sectors.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields.
  • Professional Certification: CPA/ACCA qualified.
  • Experience: 5 years of work experience in an audit firm with at least 2 years of experience as an Audit Senior.

Skills and Competences

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and IAS.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and insights to clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to handle multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
