EY (Ernst & Young) Tanzania is offering internship opportunities in its Assurance Service Line for fresh graduates (graduated in 2025 and those graduating in 2026) as an Audit Trainee FY26 based in Dar es Salaam.

Job Summary

EY is offering structured internship opportunities to support the development of human talent in Tanzania. Successful candidates will gain hands-on professional services experience within the Assurance Service Line.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Eligible Fields: Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, IT, Actuarial Science, STEM, Law, or related fields from recognized universities/institutes (including Tanzanians who studied abroad).
  • Academic Performance: Bachelor's degree with a Cumulative GPA of \ge 3.8.
  • Secondary Education: Minimum of Division Two for both O' Level and A' Level, with credits in Mathematics and English.
  • Professional Qualifications: CPA or ACCA graduates or those in progress will have an added advantage.
  • Core Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Application Guidelines & Required Documents

Candidates must pass formal interviews and assessments conducted by a group of managers. Your application pack must be merged into a single PDF document and include:

  1. A formal, brief application letter (not exceeding 3 A4 pages) detailing academic achievements, practical/leadership experience, personal character, strengths/weaknesses, motivations, and long-term career objectives.
  2. A maximum 2-page CV.
  3. Copies of O' Level and A' Level certificates showing grades.
  4. Copy of University degree certificate (or a statement in the letter indicating when it will be awarded).
  5. University academic transcripts showing subjects and grades for each completed academic year.
  6. Copy of Birth Certificate.
  7. Copy of Passport or National ID.
  8. Copies of any additional certificates, awards, or recommendation letters for extracurricular achievements (if any).
