Job Summary

The Finance Intern will be responsible for maintaining accounts payable transactions and supporting the general administration requirements of a multinational logistics company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finance Operations: Handle purchase orders capture, invoice capture and matching, payments posting, supplier payments, and supplier statements reconciliation.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Support statutory compliance and returns, bank reconciliations, client billing and invoicing, and internal/external audits.
  • Quality & Administration: Comply with relevant finance and general standard operating procedures (SOPs), and manage office consumables.
  • Environmental Management: Participate in the implementation of departmental and site Environmental Management System (EMS) objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Administration, or Business Management.
  • Professional Qualification: Preferred semi-qualified accountant (CPA-K or ACCA).
  • Experience: Prior experience in a freight forwarding company is an added advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Good IT and Excel skills.
  • Key Competencies: Excellent communication, telephonic, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills; initiative-driven and customer-oriented.
