Job Summary

The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations to ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting, compliance, and effective financial planning. The role plays a critical part in strengthening the organization’s financial governance and supporting strategic decision-making across business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain financial controls, and present reports to senior leadership.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning: Lead the annual budgeting process, develop cash flow forecasts, financial models, and scenario analyses, and monitor budget adherence.
  • Treasury & Cash Management: Manage daily cash flow and liquidity, oversee banking relationships, and evaluate working capital requirements.
  • Cost Management & Operational Finance: Support production and operations teams in cost analysis, cost-saving initiatives, profitability optimization, and project cost controls.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Coordinate tax matters (VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, withholding taxes), ensure TRA compliance, and lead internal and external audits.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Supervise and mentor finance officers and accountants, collaborating closely with operational heads across Manufacturing, Construction, Real Estate, and Hospitality.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Qualification: Mandatory CPA or ACCA qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive financial management experience, ideally within a diversified group, manufacturing, or construction environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of reporting standards, proven budgeting and financial analysis abilities, high proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with modern ERP/accounting systems.
