Job Purpose & Responsibilities

The Lead Process and Flow Assurance will be responsible for providing technical leadership on process engineering, evaluating hydraulic performance, managing flow assurance risks, and ensuring compliance with international codes and standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Process Engineering & Design: Lead process design activities, develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and perform sizing calculations for equipment and piping systems.
  • Flow Assurance Analysis: Conduct transient and steady-state thermal-hydraulic simulations, evaluate multiphase flow dynamics, manage solid deposition risks (such as hydrates and waxes), and establish mitigation strategies.
  • Technical Compliance & Review: Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with relevant statutory regulations, international industry standards, and project-specific requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and operations to resolve engineering challenges and optimize system performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Extensive professional experience in process engineering and flow assurance within the oil, gas, or energy sector, including leadership or senior technical roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard process simulation and flow assurance software (e.g., HYSYS, OLGA, PIPESIM), strong understanding of multiphase flow, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
