Job Summary

The Associate Financial Analyst Intern assists in the financial and commercial analysis of new land sales, development projects, and other opportunities while collaborating on financial models and business plans for real estate developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing Business Opportunities: Assist in the financial and commercial analysis of new land sales and development projects, and present findings to senior management.
  • Financial Modeling: Collaborate on creating and maintaining business plans and financial models for real estate developments, including core components like power, water, and telecoms.
  • Presentations & Strategy: Collaborate on high-quality presentations for senior management using financial data and visual aids, and contribute to strategy development.
  • Investor Relations & Deal Execution: Assist in maintaining investor information memoranda and support deal origination and execution processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Physics, CS, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, familiarity with valuation methods and principles, and basic accounting knowledge.
  • Core Competencies: Solid understanding of finance and financial markets, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication in English, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Note: Knowledge of the real estate or city planning industry and a CFA certification are considered a plus.
