Job Purpose & Responsibilities

The Accountant will ensure accurate financial records, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and timely preparation of financial reports to support business decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the general ledger and reconciling accounts.
  • Ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and filed.
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Processing vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
  • Tracking receivables and ensuring timely collections.
  • Supporting internal and external audits, as well as handling fund management.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certifications: CPA / ACCA certification (or in progress) is preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or ERP systems.
