Job Purpose & Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will lead the organization’s financial strategy, operations, and governance, establishing robust financial policies and ensuring compliance across trading, services, and manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Policy & Strategy Development: Lead the creation and rollout of financial policies, internal control frameworks, and strategic financial planning to align with business objectives.
  • Financial Reporting & Governance: Manage financial reporting, analysis, and communication with the Board and management while ensuring full compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Operations & ERP Management: Oversee cash flow, treasury, risk management, and cost control measures, leveraging ERP systems (preferably Next ERP) for financial efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Establish, staff, supervise, and mentor the finance department to build team capacity and safeguard company assets.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: CPA/ACCA qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of overall work experience, including mid-level managerial experience in financial management within trading, importation, services, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Next ERP), strong knowledge of compliance, governance, audit requirements, and financial reporting.
  • Core Skills: Exceptional leadership, analytical, cost-control, risk management, and communication skills.
