Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee internal audit engagements to ensure effective internal controls and governance.
  • Evaluate and strengthen risk management systems and compliance operational frameworks across the bank's business units.
  • Conduct detailed financial, operational, and system audits to safeguard bank assets.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports highlighting findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive financial inclusion, operational excellence, and organizational growth in Tanzania.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong background, relevant degree, and professional expertise in Internal Audit, Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management.
  • Practical experience and passion for strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control systems within banking or financial institutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with strong analytical and report-writing capabilities.
