Opportunity Overview

  • Program: Call for Volunteers (Various Professional Positions)
  • Application Deadline: 21st August, 2026
  • Duration of Volunteer Period: Not exceeding twelve (12) months (renewable for a maximum of two additional periods)

Available Volunteer Positions & Qualifications

1. Insurance Officer II (Multiple Posts)

  • Minimum Qualifications: Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Insurance and Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

2. Records Management Assistant (Multiple Posts)

  • Minimum Qualifications: Holder of a Form IV/VI Secondary Education Certificate plus Diploma in Records Management, Archives, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution. Must be computer literate.

3. ICT Officer II (Multiple Posts)

  • Minimum Qualifications: Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution with working experience of at least four (4) years in a related field.

4. Planning Officer II (2 Posts)

  • Minimum Qualifications: Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Project Planning and Management, Economic Planning, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions. Must be computer literate.

5. Accounts Officer II (2 Posts)

  • Minimum Qualifications: Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration majoring in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution), OR an Intermediate Certificate (Module D) offered by NBAA.

6. Legal Officer II (1 Post)

  • Minimum Qualifications: Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from recognized institutions. Must have attended and passed Internship or the Law School of Tanzania.

7. Technician – Graphic Designer II (1 Post)

  • Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Multimedia Production, and/or Mass Communication.

General Conditions & Requirements

  • Applicants must be Citizens of Tanzania aged not below 18 years and not above 35 years old.
  • Must have never been employed in any Public Institution since graduating from their studies.
  • Must have never been convicted by a court of law for criminal offenses or disciplinary misconduct, with good conduct and behavior acceptable to the community.

  • Attach an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV) with reliable contacts (postal address/post code, email, and telephone numbers).
  • Indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts.
  • Attach certified copies of academic certificates.

Unacceptable Attachments (Strictly NOT accepted):

  • Form IV and Form VI result slips.
  • Testimonials and all partial transcripts.
  • Copies of National ID, Voters Registration ID, or Driving License.
  • Introduction letters from local government.
