Job Summary

The Junior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the finance and sales teams with day-to-day accounting operations, account reconciliations, journal entries, invoice processing, and financial reporting support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting Operations: Conduct bank reconciliations, record and post revenues and expenses, and process travel and expense reports.
  • Receivables & Dunning: Manage the dunning process, including sending payment reminders and following up on outstanding receivables.
  • Financial Closings: Support monthly and annual financial closings and prepare relevant reports.
  • Communication & Documentation: Act as a point of contact for colleagues, customers, and suppliers on financial matters while maintaining organized financial documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience (tech industry experience is a plus).
  • Skills: Solid understanding of accounting principles and fiscal obligations/filings; proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Odoo ERP experience is an advantage); strong communication skills; and meticulous attention to detail.
